The Redemptive Gifts Online Course is a live course for people who want to discover their own redemptive gift from Romans 12:6-8.
It is taught by Kerry Anne Cassidy over seven live online sessions over four weekends.
Each session covers one gift: Prophet, Servant, Teacher, Exhorter, Giver, Ruler and Mercy. It is a foundational Romans 12 gifts online course for those who've heard about the Gifts and would like to understand them from a foundational level.

Redemptive gifts test vs course: why a live course?
If you are asking how to find your redemptive gift, a quiz is a starting point. Most of what you find online is a quiz. A quiz asks you to pick the answer that sounds most like you. That works when you already know yourself well. Many people do not, and a quiz cannot hear how you describe your week.
In this course you hear each gift taught in full, you see how it shows up in ordinary life, and you say out loud which parts sound like you.
You discover your redemptive gift with others, which is how most people find the gift they could not see in themselves. Sessions are live, so you can ask the questions you'd not ask otherwise.

WHERE DOES THIS TEACHING COME FROM?
The seven gifts come from Romans 12:6-8. This course builds on the work of Arthur Burk of Sapphire Leadership Group, who taught the redemptive gifts for decades and made them known around the world. I owe his work a great deal.
The course is written in my own framework and language: design and armour, and a maturity journey for each gift. It isn’t Arthur Burk’s course.
Earlier teaching on the seven motivational gifts passed through several teachers, including Bill Gothard. This course isn’t IBLP material, and it doesn’t teach his authority or family framework.
What the course leaves out: scored tests and deep diagnostics. The Joy Test, the Friction Test and the Wound Check belong in Designed for Destiny, for personal study as the next step in your journey.

KERRY ANNE CASSIDY
Kerry Anne Cassidy is a Brisbane-based facilitator, author and prayer minister. Born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, she has spent 30 years facilitating groups across more than 15 countries and has trained more than 40,000 people. She won the Australian Institute of Management's Facilitator of the Year award.
She is the author of Designed for Destiny: A Transformational Workbook for Faith-Based Believers which helps individuals deep dive into the redemptive gifts, and she's developed the Redemptive Gifts Discovery Series so that pastors and small group leaders can teach the seven gifts of Romans 12 without writing a curriculum from scratch.

1- How do I know my redemptive gift?
Start with how you are wired, not with what you can do. A quiz gives you a first guess. A better test is whether the description of a gift sounds like how you have always seen the world, even when it costs you. In this course you hear all seven gifts taught live and have the opportunity to discuss which ones feel most like home. Most people find they recognise one gift clearly, and sometimes a second.
2- What are the seven redemptive gifts?
Prophet, Servant, Teacher, Exhorter, Giver, Ruler and Mercy. They come from Romans 12:6-8. You can read each one free in my Redemptive Gifts list. If you are wondering whether this teaching is biblical, read Are redemptive gifts biblical?.
3- Is there a redemptive gifts test?
There are free quizzes online. This course is not a test. It is seven live sessions where you learn each gift and start the intentional journey to discover which one is yours.
4- How long does it take to discover your redemptive gift?
The course runs over four weekends. Some people name their gift in the first two sessions. Some know by the end. Some need the weeks after. I do not promise a result on a date.
5- What is the difference between redemptive gifts and spiritual gifts?
Redemptive gifts come from Romans 12:6-8 and describe how you are wired to see and respond to the world. Spiritual gifts, such as those in 1 Corinthians 12, are abilities the Spirit gives for service. Teachers treat the two lists differently. In this course I teach the Romans 12 gifts.
6- Are redemptive gifts the same as motivational gifts?
Yes, they are the same seven gifts of Romans 12. Different teachers use different names for them. I use “redemptive gifts” in this course.
7- Can a test accurately tell me my redemptive gift?
A test can point you in a direction. It cannot hear how you describe your week, what you fear, or what you give up for others. That is why this course is live.
8- Is there a redemptive gifts course?
Yes. This is a live online course, taught by Kerry Anne Cassidy, over seven sessions and over four weekends. Most of what is out there are free quizzes and youtube videos.
9- What is a redemptive gifts course?
A course that teaches the seven Romans 12 gifts and helps you recognise your own. This one is an online class that runs live, over seven sessions, with the author.
10- How is this different from Arthur Burk’s teaching?

11- Do I need to know anything about redemptive gifts first?
No. The course is written for people new to the gifts. Reading the free article before each session helps.
12- Is this course the same as the Designed for Destiny workbook?
No. The workbook is self-paced and goes deeper into your own design. This course is live and gives you the foundation. The first step is to take the course and then to go deeper, get the workbook next.
13- What happens in a live session?
You hear one gift taught for 80 minutes, reflect with the Character Traits handout, and give feedback in the last 10 minutes.
14- How is this different from the small group curriculum for facilitators?
That is for people who want to run the series for a group, with a licence and an audition. This course is for you, as a learner. You can upgrade later if you decide to lead.
15- Will I know my gift by the end of the course?
Most people leave with a strong sense of one gift and sometimes a second. I do not promise a single answer. You will have the language and the workbook to keep exploring.
16- Is this only for leaders, or for anyone new to the gifts?
For anyone new to the gifts. Many people who join are not in formal leadership.
17- What time are the sessions where I live?
Group A starts at 8:30am AEST (Friday 5:30pm US Eastern, 11:30am New Zealand). Group B starts at 6pm AEST (9am Netherlands, 10am South Africa, 11am Kenya). Pick the group that suits you when you join.
18- Can I pay in two instalments?
Yes. You will pay your first instalment when you join and a second instalment after session 1. Your first payment holds your seat and the price.
19- What if I miss a session?
You can miss up to two of the seven. Watch the recording and complete the short homework.
20- Is the course only in English?
Yes, this course is only delivered in English.
